Phantom of the Ball

Phantom of the ball hosted by Masada Community Trust and Glenhouse Society was held on 8 August 2009 at Fencible Lounge in Howick.

It was well attended by different groups from our community. It was fun filled night with Live Jazz band. It was a themed black tie and ball dress fundraising event. This event was organised to raise fund for renovation of our existing building in Pakuranga to make it more user friendly for disabled people. Prizes were awarded to best dressed couple.

Round the Bay Run

Hallberg Trust in association with Westpac Bank organised Round the Bay run to support people with disabilities. The run started from Quay street in Auckland city and ended in St Heliers Bay. Masada had the wonderful support from people associated with our orgnisation.Our kids and teens were excited and challenged by what seemed a long stretch of ground to cover.Smiles and great applause greeted our special needs kids who crossed the finish line. The best was yet to come as we all discovered a mouth watering BBQ feast together with refreshments and lots of new delightful peole we met.A special thanks to a dear friend of mine who made this wonderful event possible, Stacy Roche.
