Day Programmes

Young people who have completed high school or who are in transition enjoy the activities of learning recreation and vocational offered at the centre.

Individualised lifestyle plans-called I L P’s are drawn up in conjunction with parents/ caregivers to work toward goals settings and proposed career steps.

The day programme offers a range of activities and on-going learning opportunities, Attendance full time or part time.

Absolutely Free To You

During 2006 we introduced the Life Works Course which is NZQA accredited, our students have taken to the programme really well, we also had some parents enrol which was very exciting for them as some parents were a bit nervous having last studied many many years ago. The classes are of reasonable size, which gives the students a one on one with the life works lecturer. There are a number of challenges given in the course. Students have to complete the challenge work books and then complete there journals. The Life Works Course will continue in 2007 so we look forward to a new year with many new faces and challenges in the life Works Course.
