Employment
At Masada we recognise the different needs of each individual person and endevour to provide effective relevant programmes and training.
Clients are encouraged to participate in work experience opportunities available through our networking with business organisations within the community.
Masada will provide all our clients with a range of contacts within the community.
Masada will provide support and assistance for each person as they undertake the journey to available employment opportunities.
Although we are not a sheltered workshop , we will continue to working toward opportunities for contract work such as mail-outs, labelling etc.
Training
Masada will undertake to deliver programmes to build confidence, self esteem, self expression and communication skills.
Clients will be encouraged to start at the Masada Centre by partaking in various tasks such as:
- Answering of telephones
- Taking messages
- Faxing
- Photo-copying
- E-mailing
- Wordprocessing
- Directory listings
- Making of appointments
For training in the field of work experience, this will be undertaken at the employees premises and will be supported by Masada staff.
