Re: Kids Time and Holiday Care Programme Visit 29th January 2008

Thank you for allowing another advisory visit to your OSCAR programme. It is great to catch up with you and your staff and to see the activities that you are providing for the children to enjoy their leisure hours.

It was good to see the children happily occupied playing their computer games and also observing the children being able to take time out watching TV in the quiet room.

I'm sure that you are very pleased now that the Council has finally approved the new additions to the venue. We wish you all the best in raising the funds for this project and I'm sure that it wont be too long before you have the additions all up and running.

We value greatly this contact with your programme, staff and children. Through these visits we are able to keep well-informed about the day to day challenges of running a programme. The many good practices and inspiring activities that we see on our visits are often shared for the benefit of other programmes and this sharing and learning, we feel, is what OSCN is all about.

We look forward to our ongoing association with your programme.
