Re: Masada Community Trust
As the local Member of Parliament for Pakuranga it is my pleasure to recommend Masada Community Trust to you as an outstanding community organisation within the Pakuranga community.
I have known Norma-Jean Van de Rheede for a number of years and I am aware of the very good work she and her team do for children and young adults with disabilities. I know from constituents in my electorate that her warm yet profession approach to care is highly valued and much appreciated. Her services come highly recommended.
Like many charitable organisations Masada does struggle with funding due to their popularity and increasing demands for services. The reality is that most charitable organisations would not survive without outside grants and donations. Masada is no different, however funding bodies can be assured that any contributions that are made to Masada are going to an important sector of the community that already is under funded. A dollar to Masada is a dollar to young people and families in high need.
Masada is an essential community link within Pakuranga and I highly recommend them to any funding organisation. I wish Masada all the best for future years.
